Peter Hildick Biography
Peter has always been interested in the natural world and drawing, although in the early 1960's a career in art was not considered a proper job. He joined the Fleet Air Arm at 19 years of age and spent the next 22 years drawing mainly for pleasure, selling the occasional picture for a few pints.
On leaving the Royal Navy, he started work in the defence industry where he remains today, still drawing in his spare time.
His works have been exhibited in the Halcyon Gallery's "Wildlife and Conservation" exhibitions in 1997 & 1999, and "Brush with the Wild" in 2001. His wildlife drawings are widely collected and his unique appreciated by many.
