Small Art, Big Christmas » |
|
|
Although we would always recommend buying art at the highest price you can afford - simply because of long term investment value - here at CollectorsPrints, we understand that at Christmas time, our customers are often after fun, easy and inexpensive gifts.
We would like to give you our recommendations for a sensible spend this Christmas - by spending less than £100 on each person, you can afford to buy something memorable for everyone in your life. In order to give our customers some good ideas, we showcase below some artists whose varying styles fall into familiar categories. Use our knowledge to help you - and if you have any questions, just give our sales team a call on 0800 180 4488.

Something Fun |
We suggest looking at our two best selling caricature artists, Tim Bulmer and Sue Macartney Snape, who have brand new work online for Christmas. The stereotypes portrayed by these artists can make very cheeky presents. Toni Goffe and Helen Rhodes' cartoon cats and starsign based pictures make excellent presents, as do the females portrayed by Sarah Jane Szikora and Joan Somerville. The prices on these are more than reasonable! |
|
Love of the Land |
One of our most popular land and sea artists, Dorothy Bruce, sells her Limited Editions at very low price points. Try some of the miniatures by Laurence Coulson, or browse through the epic work of Gillian McDonald. Two of our newest artists are John Knapp - Fisher and Nikky Corker, whose diverse work is highly sought after but extremely affordable and well worth a look. |
|
Animal Adoration |
A huge amount of people love their animals, and we have a wide variety of artists whose work in this area is outstanding. Our most popular sculptor, Suzie Marsh, has many pieces in her range which are well under the hundred pound mark. Limited Edition Prints are available from Jacqueline Stanhope, John Trickett and Debbie Gillingham in this category, as well as quirky pieces from Sonia Rollo and charming works by Peter Hildick. |
|
Sports Buff |
For those males in your life, a sports based print is often the answer for a meaningful Christmas present. Kevin Fletcher's football stadiums are a good solution for football lovers, as are motorsports pieces by Alan Fearnley or Alfredo de la Maria. For aviation or sailing, check out pieces by Philip West or Steven Dews. |
|
Dramatic Photography |
A beautiful photograph can make a wonderful present. We have some very inexpensive but high quality photographs in our range; Dave Peck and Chris Calver's classic seaside pieces are stunning. Richard Heeps unusual take on Americana or Alex Holland's moody cityscapes are a must see, as well as Mark Bauer's sophisticated landscapes.
Remember - buying art doesn't have to leave you broke! If you need any further suggestions for that special present, please don't hesitate to contact us on 0800 180 4488.
Have a fantastic Christmas! |

| Art Fairs All Around! » |
|
Don't ever feel like you might be too intimidated to wander around an art fair. Art fairs are a fantastic way to gauge what art you like, and what you might be able to afford. Just remember - if you can't afford the original, (and let's face it - most of us can't) - there's a good chance you can find an equally beautiful Limited Edition print. This is often a more affordable option which may also give you the chance of investment for the future. Visit www.CollectorsPrints.co.uk to find out!
We would like to recommend the London Art Fair, which is taking over the Business Design Center in Islington in January. READ MORE » |
