Mark Spain

After art college, Mark decided to open a print making studio in Kent where he developed his etching and collagraph techniques. He was commissioned in 1997 to produce a limited edition etching of Kew Gardens after the great storm. Mark has had many editions published by and his collagraphs have been exhibited at Mall Galleries, and abstract oils at the 20th Century British Art Fair.

Mark has exhibited in numerous exhibitions and one man shows including the prestigious Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Show, The 20th Century British Art Fair and The Barbican Contemporary Print Fair. A vigorous and creative artist, he is constantly experimenting with different subjects and techniques which are then applied to an amazing variety of images from traditional landscapes to dazzling collagraphs.
