Inspiration
Sherree’s works show her fascination with the effects of colour and light on subjects, rather than the actual subject itself. Sherree’s works often focus on archetypal British summer events, such as Royal Ascot and the Henley Regatta.
Her work frequently features elegant ladies enjoying summer surroundings, often with a glass of champagne close by. The sense of happiness, harmony and well-being is palpable.

In 2019 Sherree Valentine-Daines was appointed “Artist in Residence” to Cunard’s Three Queens, the ocean liners: Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2.

As well as her many original paintings and limited editions, Sherree has released a beautiful, highly-illustrated hardback book. Your Days, My Days, is now in its second edition. She has also released a series of stunning bronze sculptures which have become highly desirable collectors’ items.
