Keith Drury
Background
Drury’s artistic talent was spotted aged 21 when he showed a prestigious Belfast gallery owner one of his works.
He quickly took Keith under his wing, lending him works of international artists to take home and copy, critiquing his work to help him develop his ability.
After years of trying new things and mediums, Keith has developed his own unique style using 3D modelling.
Inspiration
Keith uses his distinctive techniques to recreate urban landscapes and cityscapes featuring well-known landmarks. Keith’s works are created simply to be enjoyed and be a talking point on anyone’s wall.
As an art style, it is unquestionably quirky, uncompromising and contemporary in its interpretation of urban landscapes. Each piece is created with great attention to detail with months of precise work going into each picture. His works often yield hidden surprises to those who are eagle-eyed.
Works
Keith’s art has received a public national commission and is on permanent display to the public in Belfast City Hall.
Commercially his art has found its way into every world continent, appearing in advertising campaigns, luxury chocolate tins and jigsaws.
More recently Keith’s artwork appeared in the TV series ‘The Fall’ with Gillian Anderson.
Keith Drury’s ‘When I Dream’ art series has become one of the top-selling series of artworks for many of the UK’s largest city galleries, with some pieces sold out within a year.
