Nick Potter

Having always longed to be an artist, Nick Potter experimented with many different ventures in his life before finally realising his dream. Nick studied Archaeology at university before becoming a teacher, which he left after a while to begin working in educational publishing.

Nick Potter sketched and painted prolifically in his spare time, and although he gained pieces of success as an illustrator, he was far from satisfied with his artistic output. Potter moved back to Derbyshire where he discovered silk paints, and he began to sell his images as paintings and cards. Eventually, Potter gained notoriety and had his first one man show. He now owns and runs a gallery of his own.

Nick Potter is delighted to finally realise his dreams of becoming a published artist through Washington Green.
